Hot Chicago Neighborhoods

A graduate of Northwestern University, Derek Sulo leads as principal of Sulo Development in Chicago. In his free time, Derek Sulo enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring the city of Chicago.

Although Chicago is often recognized for its famous Lincoln Park and Wicker Park neighborhoods, it has much more to offer. Below are a few of Chicago’s hottest neighborhoods:

-Ukrainian Village. Rated number one on Redfin’s The Hottest Neighborhoods of 2016 list, Ukrainian Village features a blend of traditional storefronts and hip, new restaurants, including the Italian eatery A Tavola.

-Pilsen. Located on Chicago’s South Side, Pilsen features numerous taquerias and vendors of Mexican street food. The neighborhood is also an art haven featuring a host of studios along 18th Street and South Halsted Street.

-Hyde Park. A cultural hub in Chicago, Hyde Park is home to the University of Chicago and the Museum of Science and Industry and boasts numerous small coffee shops and bookstores.
